This weeks challenge for Lots to Do Revisited- Brayering

This was my first go at brayering, I did the background then left it for a bit as I couldn't figure out what to do next. Anyway I decided to add a
tree and some grass etc and then put a bit of glitter on the tree to make it sparkle ing the moonlight.

Winter Garden Challenge on Lots To Do Revisited

Stamp was a Judikins block of Kew Gardens, stamped then coloured with pro markers and white frosty glitter added for frost. Then some matting and layering.
I was really pleased with it in the end, although I would have liked the glitter to be a bit whiter.

A card for my cousin to congratulate him on new job

I adapted and enlarged one of the cards below for my cousin as he has a new job in a solicitors office.

A couple of cards I have made to take to work for birthdays

Ballerina Teddy

Another dress a teddy, done as below only this time I used a scewer as a ballet pole.

Angel Teddy

This was done using the dress a teddy stamps. I first stamped the teddy onto teddy coloured card and cut her out, then I stamped her dress, shoes, crown and wings on differnet papers and added a bit of colour then dressed her.

16th Birthday Card

I made this for my friends 'little' girl, she is sweet 16 on 12th. First I used word to print out the numbers as large as I could (for an A5 card) then I traced onto card, cut out and covered the card with pretty paper, then I stamped and embossed gold flowers onto the paper. Next thing I did was to loose the '6' (don't ask, it still hasn't turned up !!!) anyway then it was all edged in peeloffs as the cutting out of the hole in the '6' wasn't exactly perfect.... Anyway, originally I was going to mount them onto a black glossy card, then last night in bed I decided to put the numbers on an acetate rap. The acetate already has gold butterflies on, and I added a few gold flower peel offs. I then wrapped this around a plain black card and put some girly paper inside with shoes on it. *** long explanation for fairly simple card - LOL ***

Anniversary card made for my other cousins Ruby wedding

I really liked this one, so I put it on the mantle piece for a couple of days so I could look at it. The inside is velum which was plain and then printed onto.

This is Marilyn

This is Marilyn, she is my very first Dolly, she has been made for the Paper Paradise challenge being run by Sam on Lots to Do.

Over the last few weeks, several of the girls on the forum have bought lots of stamps from Paper Paradise via the lovely Sam.

As a thank you Paper Paradise gave us a few of these lovely dolly sets for us to have a go at and see what we could make.

Thanks to Sam and all at Paper Paradise for the chance to have a go at something new. You can contact Paper Paradise at : http://www.paperparadise.co.uk/

I will miss Marilyn when she is swapped, so I hope who ever gets her, likes her.

Skinnys for 'Humour' swap

These are the 3 Skinnys I made for the 'Humour' swap that I'm hosting, the idea is to create items that you think reflect your sense of humour. These stamped phrases reflect mine, they are all from Viva Las Vegas Stamps, the backgrounds are perfect pearls.
